Tariff area & system

Start + destination = ticket: The WestfalenTarif standardises the range of tickets on offer in Westfalen-Lippe and makes fare boundaries disappear. This is because the five local transport tariffs, the Münsterland, Ruhr-Lippe, Sechser, Hochstift and VGWS tariffs, have been merged into the WestfalenTarif. The ticket price depends on the route travelled. The price is calculated according to the start and destination points and the connection. It is not necessary to know the price level when purchasing a ticket.

Proven regional offerings remain intact

The WestfalenTarif offers the right ticket for every journey without sacrificing what is familiar and tried and tested in the region - i.e. in Münsterland, Ruhr-Lippe, Hochstift, Westfalen-Süd and TeutoOWL. This means that your local offer in Westphalia-Lippe will remain personalised. For customer information and ticket distribution, you can continue to contact the familiar offices.
