Literary pleasure in Der Lüner
Düsseldorf, 22 August 2023 - The tried-and-tested Ascheberg "Eine Gemeinde liest" (A community reads) campaign is coming up with new and unprecedented reading locations this year. On Saturday, 26 August, the motto for the first time is "Doors open and into reading pleasure" on the RB 50, starting at 14:50 in Ascheberg. For around 20 minutes, the eurobahn will become a "rolling reading". Manuela Friese and Ronni Jacobs, members of the community, are looking forward to presenting the bestselling novel "Buchspazierer" by author Carsten Henn to eurobahn passengers.
The reading on the eurobahn is one of the final presentations in the two-week series of events organised by the Ascheberg community. "We are delighted to get as many people as possible interested in "classic reading" and are very happy to support this series of events," says Anne Mathieu, Chairwoman and Managing Director of eurobahn, who also likes to pick up a printed book in her free time.
To ensure that the content of the bestseller is not lost, free participation is limited to 25 people.
